FROM THE VICAR

Greetings in the Name of the Lord

We hope that our web-site will open a window for you into the Parish of All Saints, Newport, in the Church in Wales, part of the Anglican Communion of Churches.

We call upon everyone to ponder the witness of Sacred Scripture; to declare Christ's reconciling forgiveness in Baptism and daily re-conversion; to find ourselves caught up in His eternal self-offering as we Celebrate the Eucharist He commanded, and to receive afresh His life into our lives so as to be equipped to live His life for and in the world.

Like everyone else, we have a past, a present, and - in God's grace - a future. We try to give you an inside view on how we see each of these. We would be glad of your prayers and assure you of a warm welcome amongst us.

Do explore the different pages of this site and come back often to check the up-dates. All feedback, suggestions, queries welcome.

May God go with you in all your internet travelling.

DIOCESEAN PRAYER

DIOCESAN PRAYER

Lord God,
renew your Church
and begin with me.
Heal our wounds,
give us joy in our faith,
draw many to share your life,
and use us all in your service.
For Jesus Christs sake,
Lord of the Church,
make us the Church of the Lord.
Amen

SUNDAY SCHOOL

We meet as part of morning worship most Sundays with the exception   of   family services when we stay in the congregation. We begin   each of our   meetings with songs and prayers and catch up on our news before   we move   into the meeting hall where we can spread out more to have some   fun.   Our many activities include cutting and pasting, colouring and quizzing,     singing and clapping and most importantly remembering that Jesus   loves   us.

There is always a warm welcome to anyone who comes to our happy little group. We always want new children (and their parents, of course) to come and join us and find out what we are about.

Hope to see you soon

OUR CHURCH

Our Church is a modern red brick building, situated on Brynglas Road in Newport. Our main worship Hall will seat about 150 with more seating if we pull back the partition. We have a P.A system for the hard of hearing, which is compatable with hearing aids. The double doors at the entrance enables us to give the disabled worshiper as much independence as they need to enter the church. By altering the seating, without to much effort we are able to accommodate the wheel chair, without leaving them in an isle on their own. The seating is all cushioned to make it a more comfortable experience. we have modern disabled toilets. We have our own car park, and we are all on one level. . We are a friendly bunch and welcome anybody. Please feel free to ask anyone a question to make your visit a pleasant one.

We look forward to seeing you at All Saints Church Newport
